Welcome to the American Institute Alumni Association!!

What is the American Institute Alumni Association?

The mission of the AI Alumni Association is to provide a means through which AI alumni, employers, and the school can   interact with and serve each other. We are committed and dedicated to your success in the ever-growing field of the beauty and wellness industries. Our purpose is to offer career-related resources and support to you, our graduates and employers' community, to ensure the continued excellence of AI's educational programs, and to enhance the pride and loyalty of its alumni.

What is the purpose of the Alumni Website?

 Alumni website exists for the purpose of supporting the Alumni Association's mission. Its main feature is the Online Career Services Resources, including Online Job Listings Updated several times per week; Resume outlines and templates; Cover letter templates; Business Plan outline; Marketing and Practice Building articles; and our very own "Private Practice 101" manual.  Please note: THE ONLINE JOB LISTINGS ARE ON A RESTRICTED PART OF THE WEBSITE, ACCESSIBLE TO AI GRADUATES ONLY!!! YOU MUST FIRST REGISTER IN ORDER TO SEE THE LISTINGS.

Employers: How do I post a job opportunity on this website?

  1. Click on "Employers", on the top menu.
  2. Click on "Employment Opportunity Form"
  3. Fill out the form (leave blank the fields that do not apply to your position.)
  4. Click on "Preview Job"
  5. Then either "Edit Job Posting" or "Save Job Posting" ("Save Job Posting" means your listing will be posted within 24  hours)
  6. If you have any questions or comments, please click on "Contact Career Services" or call Nathalie (954) 781-2468 ext. 219.

Graduates: How do I access the Job Listings?

First click on "Register", on the top right of the page. Then follow the easy steps:

  1. Enter your personal information on the Registration page.
  2. Make sure you enter your occupation, specialties, and the city where you live, as this features will be used later on as a search engine for employers!
  3. If you have one, upload a nice picture to illustrate your profile.
  4. Click on "Send Registration".
  5. You're done!

How do I retrieve Job Listings?

  1. Simply log in with your username & password (make sure to save these in a safe location, as you will use them often!)
  2. Click on "Job Listings" on the top menu. The most recent offers are on top.
  3. Click on individual offers for the position details.
  4. Follow the directions listed on "How to Apply"
  5. NOTE: Do NOT click on "Apply for Job", as this feature is not available on our website!!
